Plant Data Collection & Reporting via PocketPC   Most manufacturing plants have data to be collected from instruments that are not connected to their control systems, PLCs or DCS. Sometimes this is even mandated by regulatory agencies also. The advent of PocketPC technology has made this even easier. This product is designed just for that purpose. Support for PLCs and barcode readers (1D, 2D or RFID) are available. PocketPC 2003 or later operating system required. Multiple operator support, working over multiple shifts. Central data storage in Microsoft Access or SQL server database. Bi-directional data movement so that operator on a certain shift shall have access to data collected during previous shifts. Simple good data values shown. Unlimited data items for unlimited plant zones is supported. Independent of PocketPC hardware. Common Features of all Products   All the .Net products are based on native. NET framework or .Net compact framework. Source codes are available as an option. A source code release form has to be signed by the buyer. ActiveX components are/were based on Microsoft COM (Component Object Model) model. COM is an obsolete technology now. ActiveX operation in .NET can not be fully guaranteed. It is strongly recommended to migrate to .NET component if your target environment is .NET. For a small fee, Parijat can migrate any component to a native .NET component dll. Our products are designed to work with standard TCP/Serial converters and have been tested with several vendors’ products. No 3rd party software products employed.
